Ok, yes I'm a mom. Yes I am using Sharon, Louis and Bram lyrics to illustrate that both H and I are soaring and sewing, and stitching and growing this business. We are over the moon - "to infinity and beyond." We have the essentials; a shop site, a modest product inventory, business cards, pamphlets and labels. We have both been injured "on the job" - WSIB claims make it feel real, and our first out of country order has sealed the deal. We are a business!
Our first shop giveaway was a huge success, and now we are setting our sights on our first local craft show. This in only two months.

We will be outside in the garden/courtyard - hopefully away from the food vendors(yum, yum)...and rain. But tucked in amongst a summer garden....*sigh, I am going to want to take the entire Vermeers store home with me.
Heather will have just returned from her African Safari Adventure. (Can't wait for that blog post! Elephant pictures are a must) Me, well I will be partaking in another adventure. Not sure how child birth stacks up against a Safari...not as hot, or scenic; definitely more painful, well unless your safari includes getting eaten by a lion. I imagine that to be painful.
